Review:
An absolutely awesome recording. The U2 concert world has known about this video ever since the soundboard audio recording that was extracted from the video surfaced a few few years. Most people assumed that the video would be pretty rough (similar to the Syracuse '87 video), but it turns out that the Los Angeles video is professionally mixed with multiple camera angles shown simultaneously on occaion (see final still below taken from "With Or Without You").
This video was transferred to DVD from the master VHS cassette, so the picture quality is superb. The audio quality is excellent as well. There are a couple of very small lines at the bottom of the picture throughout the video. There are also a few instances during which the video skips momentarily...at 1:34 of "Streets", for example. In addition, there is a brief burst of distortion in the video between "Bad" and "October" and some minor audio blemishes around the 1:00 mark of the latter.
There is a main menu and menus that allow you to jump directly to individual songs. The index points are perfectly placed between songs.
